Evora Street, Part 1

Today, I drove around Port Wentworth in the pouring rain.

A fun part of living near sea level in a rainy climate is dealing with rainwater runoff.

So when people who live in the old part of the city complain about drainage, most aren’t exaggerating… especially on Evora Street.

In between deluges, I got out to explore.  One of my former students lives in this house, and she’s right! Her yard (and the whole street) is a mess when it rains.

I’m going to reach out to the city and see what I can find out.

Stay tuned for answers!
