As your next mayor, I pledge to attend all mandatory Georgia Municipal Association trainings, and as many optional ones as I can squeeze into my schedule. One of the things I respect about Councilwoman Nelson is that she has made certain that she utilized every opportunity to learn the ins and outs of being on city council, how the process works, and how best to represent her constituents.
In addition, I have 27 years of classroom management experience. I know how to manage a group of people, how to explain information, and how to communicate with a wide range of people. Under my leadership, meetings will be orderly and on task, clear and on subject.
My educational background gives citizens a real chance to learn the things they want to learn about how the city council operates and what it does.
